The Music City Walk of Fame located on Nashville’s Music Mile, “is a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music who have contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration and made a significant contribution to the music industry with connection to Music City”. Honored inductees include some of the biggest names in music history like Reba McEntire, , The Crickets, , Wynonna Judd, Frances W. Preston, Emmylou Harris and Jimi Hendrix.
Twice a year, inductees are announced and awarded at a star studded ceremony with a platinum and granite sidewalk star along Music Mile. Music Mile is the one-mile stretch which connects downtown to Music Row where visitors can experience the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the Nashville Arena, the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, and much, much more.
